Soft, thin crepes rolled with creamy chocolate spread and fresh banana slices, lightly dusted with powdered sugar. Perfect for breakfast, brunch, or dessert, these sweet rolls are tender, rich, and incredibly satisfying.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 1/2 cups milk
  • 2 large eggs
  • 2 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 tablespoon granulated sugar
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 2 medium ripe bananas, sliced
  • 1/2 cup chocolate spread
  • 1 tablespoon powdered sugar

Instructions

  1. Preheat a nonstick skillet over medium heat.
  2. In a mixing bowl, whisk together flour, milk, eggs, melted butter, sugar, and salt until smooth. Let the batter rest for 10 minutes.
  3. Lightly grease the skillet if needed. Pour about 1/4 cup of batter into the pan, swirling to create a thin layer.
  4. Cook for 1 to 2 minutes per side until lightly golden. Repeat with remaining batter.
  5. Spread a thin layer of chocolate spread over each crepe and arrange banana slices evenly on top.
  6. Roll each crepe tightly into a log and slice into smaller rolls if desired.
  7. Dust with powdered sugar and serve immediately.

Notes

  • Letting the batter rest improves texture and flexibility.
  • Keep the heat at medium to prevent over browning.
  • Fill the crepes while slightly warm so the chocolate spreads easily.
  • Crepes can be made one day ahead and stored with parchment paper between layers.
