Ingredients

Scale
  • 6 boneless skinless chicken thighs, about 800 grams total
  • 2 tablespoons harissa paste
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice
  • 1 teaspoon ground cumin
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped

Instructions

  1. Preheat the air fryer to 190 degrees Celsius for 3 minutes.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine harissa paste, olive oil, minced garlic, lemon juice, ground cumin, salt, and black pepper.
  3. Pat the chicken thighs dry and coat them thoroughly in the marinade.
  4. Arrange the marinated chicken in a single layer in the air fryer basket without overcrowding.
  5. Air fry for 18 to 20 minutes, flipping halfway through cooking, until the internal temperature reaches 75 degrees Celsius.
  6. Remove from the air fryer and let the chicken rest for 5 minutes.
  7. Sprinkle with chopped fresh parsley and serve hot.

Notes

  • Marinate the chicken for at least 20 minutes for deeper flavor.
  • Do not overcrowd the basket to ensure even browning.
  • Reheat leftovers in the air fryer for a few minutes to restore crisp edges.
