Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 large apples (Honeycrisp or Fuji)
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1 teaspoon light brown sugar (optional)
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice

Instructions

  1. Preheat your air fryer to 300°F (150°C).
  2. Core the apples and slice them very thinly using a mandoline.
  3. Toss the slices in a bowl with lemon juice, cinnamon, and optional sugar.
  4. Line your air fryer basket with parchment paper if needed.
  5. Lay the slices in a single layer in the basket without overlapping.
  6. Air fry for 12–16 minutes, flipping halfway through.
  7. Remove and let cool on a wire rack to crisp fully.
  8. Serve immediately or store in an airtight container.

Notes

  • Use firm apples for best texture.
  • Watch closely in the final minutes to avoid burning.
  • Let chips cool completely before storing.
  • Add nutmeg or clove for a flavor twist.
